    Sean Prenter

    CO PRESIDENT

    Sean studies a Masters of Politics Philosophy and Economics at Victoria University of Wellington.

    He became involved with NDSA following on from being a founding member of the Otago Disabled Students’ Association. Motivated by the shared experiences of exclusion and inaccessibility disabled students were facing, a perspective which continues to inform his work.

    Tara Shepherd

    CO PRESIDENT

    Tara is studying Bachelor of Applied Science, double majoring in Environmental Management & Politics at the University of Otago.

    Tara has been an inclusive education advocate since high school and was inspired by the challenges she faced transitioning into higher education as a rural, disabled wāhine to join NDSA.

    Nikki Van Dijk

    RELATIONS OFFICER

    Nikki is currently working on her Masters of Disability and Inclusion Studies at the University of Waikato.

    Amongst her role of managing NDSA’s relationships with partners, she is an amazing supporter of our member organisations and representatives. Drawing on her experiences as the president of Waikato University Disabled Students Association.

    Nevé Fern Billing

    ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

    Nevé is studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management at Open Polytechnic.

    She is a strong advocate for learners with disabilities in the vocational space, Nevé has been supporting her peers at Open Polytechnic for 2 years and is excited to bring this passion to the national level.

    Alex Cox

    ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

    Alex recently completed a conjoint degree in Population Health and Biology from the University of Auckland.

    In their final year of study they pivoted into working with fellow students with disabilities after taking on the Co-President role of Auckland University Disabled Students Association, eventually leading them to NDSA
